A question for you all:

Medical Alert bracelets / jewelry

Do any of you have one or recommend getting it?

Welcome. I'm a yes. I have one. I wanted to ensure they called re: my vits/minerals, etc., and they also would know what I looked like inside (if I couldn't speak).

That’s because they scan the same general area.

Back this summer, hubby had a CT scan of his head and abdomen for his ventricular shunt (the shunt drains excess fluid from his brain to his abdomen which meant the entire system needed scanning.

It was that scan that found his kidney stone.

That was really helpful!! That’s something you want to find early.

I just meant that even though the CT scan was for the spine the Radiologist didn’t ignore everything else they saw that wasn’t related to my spine. I wasn’t expecting the level of detail especially when there was plenty going on in my spine!
