HungryRoot is a service that shows you recipes and then provides the ingredients. It’s not pre-made meals. It’s essentially a grocery service.

bear in mind, the all carb meals are the cheapest no matter the service. HomeChef has good food but if you want protein you will pay for it.
The funny thing with Home Chef is they SHOW protein meals with $4.99 per serving on top of the ad!

Well, the thing I’ve learned is that the meal prices never change. The website says starting at $7.99 per serving. How they can make claims about it being lower are through introductory prices. They will knock on a percentage amount for each delivery which does reduce your costs per serving but it’s temporary. The goal is to keep you subscribed.

Factor, as an example, does this but every X number of shipments will give free things to keep you getting boxes like free ad-on’s or a discount on them.

It’s all marketing.

And here’s the Hungry Root recipe book. A friend of mine subscribes to them and loves them. This is not how to cook everything necessarily but what the ingredients are.

Here’s the Home Chef recipes. I don’t subscribe to Home Chef anymore but love their food so I just use the recipes now.

I’m pretty sure most of the meal delivery places share all the recipes at this point.

Thanks for those links. That helps. Cause although they allow swapping out the meat, I don’t see an option for swapping out veggies and that’s where hubby is super picky and I try to low carb. I don’t care how you look at it, carrots are NOT low carb veggies.
