I have been battling carb cravings and found a new "ice cream" product, Arctic Zero. The first ingredient is water, next is whey protein. The frozen dessert is sweetened with monk fruit. A 1/2 cup serving has 3 grams of protein and 7 grams of carbs (35 calories per serving). I bought the chocolate peanut butter flavor. It reminded me of ice milk, with a strong whey protein taste. There is no hiding whey protein taste in "ice cream" for someone who drinks whey protein shakes daily. There are many flavors available to try (snickerdoodle, mint, brownie, and more) but the product is not for me.

Here is a link for more information:

I just eat regular ice cream, the really good stuff like Haggen Daaz or Cold Stone Creamery because it is better and has lots of cream in it. Then again I am 3 years out.

I can't stand the taste or smell of whey protein so I can't do any "faux foods" using that stuff.

@Settledownnow -- Have you heard of Halo Top ice cream? It's also marketed as a healthy ice cream, and while it does not have quite as good of nutrition as Arctic Zero, but it tastes 1000x better. I hate Arctic Zero and love Halo Top. It can be hard to find (I see Arctic Zero stocked in more places than Halo Top), but if you see it, definitely buy a pint to try. The carbs might be a little high though if you're sensitive to carbs. Here's mint chip:

It sounds very tempting, but the sugar alcohols are a concern for me. I ate a Carb Master fudgicle (delicious) and because I have no self-control, I ate another one. Oh my... stomach cramps, bloating, gas and bathroom problems. Carb Master products have been banned from my house. It is possible that I could eat a small amount of Halo Top ice cream, but the problem is my lack of self-control around sugary treats!

I was very disappointed with this stuff. I actually threw it away, and I NEVER throw away food. It was expensive too!
I have yet to find a fake/replacement food that is any good. For me it is do the real stuff for anything but in moderation.

Mmmmm, real fatty ice cream. I hope I will be able to eat it again in the future too.

You will. I'm three months out and I've been eating 3 to 5 oz of ice cream every other day for 6 weeks. Does not give me gas.

Buy a kids size at a scoop shop. Don't bring it in the house. ;-)
