And the fireworks nuttiness has begun.

Last week 140
This week forgot to weigh first thing. Hard to keep track of what day it is when retired and full timing. We knew yesterday was the 1st of July but forgot if it was Fri or Sat.

At 13 days pre op is this slow loss for a DSer? I am not complaining, I've always been a slow loser and I've never lost this much this quickly, but I am not counting the loss from the post op gain of 11lbs from the gas and fluids, so technically I have only lost 14lbs since surgery. I mean, I'll take a pound a day, it just seems like a slow start for DS.

Well, I'vee stablized after being very bouncy being sick. Got down to 147 after not eating for two weeks, shot up to 153, now back 150, so on track.

15 pounds to go and 10 months out. Losing about 5 pounds a month now. It will be a long 15 pounds.

I was in Nashville 2 weeks ago and ate fried chicken, country gravy, shrimp and grits, dry aged steak, smothered pork chops and greens. I went to a winery and the Jack Daniels Distillery. To the Losers Bar and to a bunch of Honky Tonks. It was a blast I drank to much and got very little sleep. I could not live there...

Last week I went to San Diego (my home town) and ate Mexican food and drank margaritas every day.

I'm surprised I maintained my weight. It's been pretty hot here 119 expected this week. Lots of tea and very little activity. 90 by 6am ugh.

Couple of photos of me with my Friens in Nashville and me any my main squeeze in SD.

Didn't weigh this weekend, so will hold over till next weekend.

I went and test rode a bicycle! I live near a lot of bike paths, and Singapore is flat (though hot and rainy) so I'm determined to do some cardio (even though I hate it so very much) while enjoying nature. It's an 11 speed belt drive, designed here in Singapore, for minimal maintenance. Should be mine in the next 1-2 weeks.

Ho hum. Happy 4th everyone!
Love the ho hum's when in maintenance. Happy 4th
I am back up to a size 10 pants even though my weight is only up a couple pounds. I need to exercise, is what it is.

153 pounds today

Happy Full Timing on a Holiday Weekend, Liz! :D
I've found at smaller sizes, even 5 lbs can make a difference. But walking is good for you.

Full timing means every holiday is spent on the road somewhere. We do have to plan ahead for those cause campgrounds get crowded fast. We need to work on Labor Day weekend now. Thanksgiving and Christmas are covered, so is New Years Eve/Day. Those reservations are already in place.

Hate the neighbors with the fireworks. It is so hard for pets.
Enjoy the holiday weekend everyone.
Good for you. Enjoy the holiday.

Walked up and down 30 rows of bleacher seats at Fenway Park this week. Several times. Thank god for the 56lbs lost since pre-op, those seats might have killed me last summer.
Good for you.

So in spite of the gain, you have lost 14 lbs in 13 days! How in the hell is that SLOW????

You are still losing and at some point, you will turn around and wonder why you worried about those last few lbs.

Good for you. Dh and I tried bikes but when I fell off and had a BAD case of road rash from ankle to knee cap, I decided I was too klutzy to be on a bike these days.

Been a busy week, the hubby is out of town so I'm holding down the fort solo. Still making time to do yoga and just trying to rebuild some strength I've lost through the journey.

Some days I feel like I look great, but then other days I am tired and I look in the mirror and feel like I look sickly, as my face has really shown the last 3-5 lbs lost. I'm not sure if it is normal to feel this way or now. Starting to get a little nervous about losing too much weight. I'm about 16 months out, and have lost 193 lbs. I'm 18lbs below where I wanted to be, and am smaller clothing than I was in 6th grade

The loss I've seen in the past couple of weeks has only been a little on the scale, but a lot visibly and as far as size goes. I'm now in 6-8 bottoms and sm-med tops, all of my ribs are visible, including in my back and chest area, my hips and shoulders are also quite honey.

In yoga this week we were doing group poses which involved locking arms on each others shoulders, and the lady next to me commented on me being honey when she locked her arm with mine., and she was very thin.

At any rate, I'm ready for a relaxing 4th laying by the pool all day and then on the lake all night

Hope everyone has a great holiday!
