Once again, Ms O. is celebrating her latest weight loss *victory*. Really, it's her life and she can be a fool/stooge of the diet industry if she so desires. However, from reading the comments, there's not a great deal of celebrating by the general public. It would so great if she used her influence as a positive side of being healthy instead of being the world's most public yo-yo. And yes, she does have influence; I've read some of her book club recommendations.

IMO, at least she is touting a somewhat sensible weight-loss plan. This one counsels healthy eating instead of horrible deprivation or the exclusion of an entire food group.

$. I am sure she earned $250,000 per pound (at least). If only she donated it to obesity education, preventing bullying of the overweight, or teaching healthy attitudes about weight differences among teenagers.

I hope she finds her answer. But the message I always got was that if a BILLIONAIRE who can hire the best chefs/trainers/have a complete gym can't keep the pounds off, it is hopeless. I always thought of her as an effective ad for WLS.
