MiniSue’s boyfriend (aka partner) has EO week custody. His weeks, she—age almost-9–comes here after school and I help with homework. (This makes me a saint.). (All around, because Dad doesn’t have to do Language Arts and she gets more goof off time at home.)

HOWEVER, last night her father introduced her to Swedish Chef on youtube. She laughed her butt off. HOW-EVER-EVER, today’s spelling homework (she gets to pick and choose) was to write her spelling words and a ryhming word for each one. Do you have any idea how unpopular a not-quite-grandmother can become when disallowing Swedish Chef word after Swedish Chef word?

Nobody loves me today.

How can one find rhyming words to gibberish? But then again, I'm sure that is no problem to a child. Their minds haven't been as contaminated as mine with the right thing to do.

As in...
Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

See, the nice thing about gibberish is that the world always has room for more gibberish!
