You can't make this shit up - SMH - surgery tomorrow

E-NUF!! I'm sorry Scott - but you may as well get it taken care of right away, so you can finish healing from both during the same timeframe.

Thanks .... I agree and want it fixed now

Hey man, you need to keep it together! ;) Seriously, jeepers you have been through enough. Hope this readily can be resolved.

Do you have an alien trying to escape? I'm still shaking my head Scott!
Tell me about it. Dr K said he looked and saw nothing because he has found them and repaired them at the same time as a Ventral hernia. He said the pressure has to go somewhere and if the fascia in the groin area was weak that is what is causing it to bulge. According to my PCP since it isn't in my scrotum yet and just the groin that means it is fairly early, but it will get there if I do nothing and I feel a bulge as big as my wife' fist so I know it is coming.

My husband Charles has poor fascia - he had had a bulging belly since childhood despite being pathetically skinny, and as an adult, almost all of his excess weight was in a bulging gut. At one point, he was over 250 but had settled down to around 225 when his umbilical hernia became a real problem. He lost weight before the abdominoplasty surgery (to 180), which was combined with a re-repair of his inguinal hernia on the right, and a repair of the inguinal hernia on the left that developed about a month before the surgery.

And now, less than 2 years later (and after all the work he did in emptying and repairing our house), he is now facing another surgery, because the second repair on the right side has apparently re-re-torn.

Damn, sorry to hear that. I hope it happens quickly if it has to happen.

Not to be too graphic but this one I have is on my right in the groin area. The pain is now moving into my scrotum and my right boy is sagging even more than normal. What was discomfort is now turning into pain that seems to have increased today. My saggy scrotum is sagging even more than it has since losing all my weight, so I hope when they fix this hernia they can cinch that up a bit. I have a feeling this will have to be open as well so maybe I can get a hernia, nut sack cynching and fupa removal...doubtful but I can hope.

Well attention whore oops I meant Scott it looks like insurance needs to reevaluate the entire abdominalplasty and panni. Surgery since you continue to get hernias. I must say you are good if in spite of mesh you still got one. My primary care physician told me I have one. Since I have seen her it has gotten huge looks like I'm pregnant on the upper left side of my stomach. Today I have an appointment to check with the specialist.....

Your wife needs to be nominated for sainthood! With you and your son she has her hands full.

Get better and stay better!!!

Thanks Clarrissa.

This hernia is in my groin so there was no mesh in that area. The pressure on my abdomen sought the weakest point and pushed through.

Yeah my wife outs up with a lot and we are very fortunate to have her. She gets frustrated from time to time but she is such a help.
