THAT’S what I should have done. I could have been a professional cross between Debbie Downer and a Coal Mine Canary. Instead, I just let people tell me I was “too negative.”

I’m not negative. I could have been a Professional Prognosticator.

But, I’m spending my dotage shuffling around the house saying:
“That’s too close to the edge.”
”Make sure you set it for AM not PM.”
”The expiration date on these tortillas was three weeks ago. They’re trying to kill us.”
”Her mother takes her to Disneyland every other weekend during a PANDEMIC? Guess what’s going to happen.”
And so on.

I’m no fun at all.

I think I do the same thing but I’m talking to people on the the TV or in FB groups. Some people are too stupid to live and the internet just let them out for our entertainment.

I’m with you. I like to be able to say “You can’t say I didn’t warn you!” A slightly more subtle version of “I told you so,” but prospectively.
