That is great news. Glad to hear it.
I just saw this post do sorry for not responding earlier. Thank you Patty. I really do appreciate all of you here and the great love and support everyone has shown me. It is very much appreciated and I am quite humbled. We're all in your corner Scott... Hoping you are pain free without further liver damage soon.
Thanks Hon. I will be interested in what Dr Prager my HEMONC says tomorrow. Hoping they do another iron panel so I can see if I need a transfusion. I have always had good iron panel numbers until my last surgery and it had tanked. Dr K infused me and a month later it was dropping again. I saw the NP last visit because Hemonc wasn't available until now but they didn't want do an infusion then but at least she got marrow test ordered and ball rolling. I will ask about blood transfusion.Am I being too simplistic? You are anemic and passing out. Wouldn't a couple pints of blood help you out? I want so much for you to overcome your difficulties. Hang tough Scott, dig in, and don't give up. We need you here.
Says there is really nothing to do about my Chronic Anemia, and of course the passing out she hasn't a clue. Got a whole 60 seconds out of her.
My zinc and copper are both at bottom of range but typically in. It is a battle to get both up and not knock one of the other down since they are antagonists. I am going to start adding a CREON capsule or two daily to give a little bump but not anywhere the boatload I took pre revision. Maybe that will help my anemia, protein which is just below range and other elements as well.I know you know what you are doing, but is your copper and zinc in range? That is where I really went off the rails. Do you think you are at a point where some nutrition (via a port and pump) might help you?
