She was first exposed to COVID-19 the second week of June, tested positive, got sick and, eventually, mostly recovered physically. (She’s still a bit of a masking/hand washing/glove wearing/hand sanitizing Nazi, who prefers to keep her parents locked up like Rapunzel. She could probably give hilary1617 ‘s Liam a run for his money.)

In September, she joined with Red Cross and donated convalescent plasma and platelets, hoping she still had antibodies, to help others recover. In October, she received a Thank You from Red Cross, telling her that her donation went to Birmingham, AL. On Election Day, she went again. (AFTER you donate and they test everything, they let you know your status.) So, she just learned that, five months after getting hit with COVID-19, she still has antibodies. I want her to be safe forever, so this was good news. Again.

I like her LOTS more than I thought I would when she was an adolescent.

I love that she has donated AND is your lockdown police. I applaud her efforts on both fronts. Stay well and safe, my friend!
