The blood culture came back from the picc line it was positive for a staph infection. So staph and pneumonia is my issue.

Ugh! My entire little family of four had pneumonia in November and it took multiple different antibiotic attempts to find one that our bugger couldn't resist. So sorry you are going through this @Charris . No fun at all!

Wow @hilary1617 i thought it could be passed around. That's why I told my daughter to not bring Toot to see me. He's not allowed on the unit but they said I could go to visitors area.
