Ok whoops. Can delete that. (Edited cause if I deleted it, it would delete the thread)
I meant to say that I'm 8 days out and food has been a total chore until tonight. Noticed the frequent reference to re fried beans on these posts so bought some at the store and ate with sprinkled cheese. They have never tasted so good! I know they have more carbs than protein so is there a point when I should be careful about eating them?Do people have GI issues with beans or is our gas/poop so toxic that beans don't make an impact?
Finally, what makes them so damn good right after surgery?
