Yeah I have one and never used it. I think it's :poop: to expect a privilege just because I had surgery. But if you want to use one, it's your choice. Anyhoo, I hadn't seen mine since my surgery in 2008. I came across it and found it's not totally worthless; it has a diagram of the DS configuration on the back. (Like I'm sure showing DS guts to a server would make a big impression to begin with.:ROFLMAO:)

@Charris you can print one out yourself from any of a bunch of sources.

I think it's ridiculous to announce your "specialness" to a server, too. Of course, nine years out I can eat out just fine :).

I would never use one:
1) Most of us ate more than our "fair" share at buffets pre-op
2) Making a spectacle of yourself to a food server for a discount just isn't worth it - and don't you DARE tip less just because of it.
3) I LIKE taking home leftovers from a regular restaurant and eating them later.

Exactly why I've never used mine. Especially point #3; most of my leftovers taste better the next day anyway.

I've never used the card specifically but will ask to order off the senior menu, particularly when ordering breakfast out (at places like Denny's or IHOP). If they say no, then it's no issue for me, but I like to ask.

I can eat a regular portion meal with no problem and personally would be embarrassed to have a card...so of no use for me but to each their own.

I guess that's an advantage of all my silver hair and wrinkles; nobody questions me when I order off the Senior menu. I do this mainly when we're on vacation and it's not easy to save the leftovers.

You damn sure dont look like no "Senior" ;)

Some places the senior menu works for everyone. Some they toe the line on the age requirement.
Then again, if you look at the Kid's menu at Cracker Barrel, there are some decent options there. And they serve breakfast ALL day long.
