Liz, North Bend is about 3 hours from me but I would love to visit the coast. if I can't, I expect you will go right through Medford on I5 since it's the best way to CA.

where is Shingleton? google says you might mean Shingletown...

We may just stay in Butte so that we can see family too. Explain to me how the ranch is closer to Boulder than to Butte, isn't it in Whitehall? Or, is it somewhere between Whitehall and Boulder using some back roads?

It IS Shingletown, lol.

I'll look into more detail as to what road we will be on. And I'll PM you later this week. I want to meet up.

It's about halfway between Boulder and Whitehall right on the South Boulder River/Highway 69. If you stay in Butte, come across 15 and it'll be considerably quicker.

Wow that is allot of driving to do. I will e in NYC when you are in my neck of the woods. Ever since you mentioned Pop-up I can not stop thinking about it. My husband thinks Im a nut but now I want one. I've been trolling Craigslist ever since.

Safe travels.

Check dealers in your area...they may not sell new ones but many have trade in's for sale and unlike Craigslist, you stand a better chance of getting one in good shape. Another place to look is RV Trader.

Sorry we will be on opposite sides of the country.

when I was a kid I loved the pop up camper we had while my Dad apparently hated it because of all the work putting it up and down (moreso the older he got, I think).

for me it was all fun an no real work. I mean, I would get sent to the pump to get water but that's an adventure, right?
