I am scheduled (finally, yay!) for February 12, 2014 for a Duodenal Switch with Dr. Ara Keshishian in Glendale, California at the USC Verdugo Hills Hospital.

Thanks all! Your support means so much!

I'm like uber excited and terrified at the same time. Talked to Dr. K's nutritionist, Diane, sweetest lady ever! I just yes'd her to death on the "no drinking with meals" part and assured her that when I said I was looking forward to my liquid diet of egg drop soup from the restaurant next door, I was not going to eat greasy fried pork slathered in sugary sauce!

Now to start shopping for protein samples, davinci suryps, sf drink mixes and all that fun stuff for retail therapy!

Change of plans. Dr. K has to leave town the week of my surgery, so I'm bumped up to February 3rd! A little sooner than planned, but all is good. I'm ready to begin my new life!

Wowee! Got your back girl, you are handling this all like a rockstar and I know it's the same attitude you will have as a post-op. So I get to meet you and DH that much sooner. California is ready and waiting for you my dear.
