Can’t believe it’s March already!
Last week 120
This week 119
Other good news, a full week of morning blood sugar numbers below 100, I honestly can not remember any time that EVER happening. All the deep cleaning this week has paid off! I remember the appointment I had my first year as a DSer with the damned Exercise Physiologist. I never did any formal exercise until this year with Cardiac Rehab, but he had the nerve to tell me housework, yard work, and home renovations were not exercise, Bull Hockey! And I proved it this week! My watch had my heart rate up in my acceptable range for exercise for my age for well over an hour every day! My cardiac team would have been proud of me.

excellent report, Liz!

this makes no sense to me: why would anyone think that?
Because of his narrow minded views that if it wasn’t in a gym, it didn’t count.

Good morning!

The closet date to last Sunday was 2/19/25. I did not weigh on 2/23/25.

I did weigh myself yesterday though

2/19/25 117.9
3/2/25 118.5

I actually lost and gained weight in between those dates.

I started with a new dietitian last Tuesday. She comes highly recommended. I started with her because I am not able to maintain my weight. I am losing weight even though I am increasing my macros.

I wanted to seek professional advice because nothing I am doing is working. My bariactric team has pretty much washed their hands because my labs are great and can’t explain why I can’t maintain or gain weight.

My goal weight was 150 pounds. I wanted to go to about 130 pounds so I had a buffer.

After my surgery on 3/17 (to remove excess skin and getting breast implants) and I am cleared for exercise, I am going to start strength training. To start to build muscle. I have lost a lot of muscle mass.

At least youve seemed to have stabilized. And yes, exercise should help.

Hi -

Hope it works out with the new dietician and looks like you are doing well in terms of getting nutrition / vitamins.

If you still struggle in a few weekw under her care, and I understand that it is not usually desirable from a nutrition perspective to eat empty calories, there's nothing quite as effective in my experience as white flour in the form of muffins, bread, pasta, etc. to tip the scales upward. This might be an option for to put on a fat cushion as you build up muscle...

Wishing you the best!
