It's scary and rough seeing your parents doing the slide, one way or the other, mentally/physically. Really happy though that you'll be needing to plan for another birthday party and that it wasn't the big C.

Diana, I'm so sorry for the scare and hope you are able to take some Diana time to de-stress. You have a lot going on already and the fear and grief which arises from accompanying elderly parents' on their aging journeys can be overwhelming. My heart goes out to you.
