Mr. Sue's family (I may get to mine later):

Idiot sister's idiot spawn is getting political on the interwebz. Lemme do some background here. He's 43. Got thrown out of the Air Force. Later, got busted for stealing money orders and depositing them to his own checking account. Worked at his dad's auto body shop forever, calling himself "co-owner." Dad retired and shut the place down about three years ago.

Never married. Never mentioned a date of either gender. Rented a manufactured home in a podunk town in FL. Got religion. Spent all his spare time/money attending Christian Concerts and taking HUNDREDS of photos and getting his pic w/the bands.

So far, except for the Air Force and the money orders, not so bad.

But the religion he adopted is very opinionated about stuff. Like, abortion. He wants all providers and all women who terminate pregnancies in jail. I'd rather not be the one to tell him that his dad pressured his mom to terminate a pregnancy when he was maybe five years old. But I wish one of his parents would. (I wish ALL THE WOMEN, especially older women, who did what they could to end unwanted pregnancies would speak up. I remember hearing the well off ladies at my mom's wonen's club mention that someone wasn't "here for this event because"...change to a whisper..."she had to get a scraping.")

Now he has become a long line truck driver...and thinks he's rich. All over the freaking interwebz trying to recruit people to earn "great money" like he does. That would be +/-$50k...gross. All he has to pay for out of that $50k is every single meal on the road for weeks at a time, some of his showers at truck stops, and--when his rig is down for service and he's in a crappy motel in a crappy area and getting paid $75/day (after two or three days) for the duration--he can try to find a nearby place to eat, but usually has to rent a car and pay to go to local attractions in addition to his meals and all. Great money.

He owned nothing but his car. But he recently bought a vacant lot that used to be something. But isn't anymore. He didn't need to worry about Hurricane Michael blowing the roof off his place...that's already missing. It might be a decent investment as I think it's in an area where he can park a trailer and call it home...for himself and his bimbo mother.

His mother, Mr. Sue's younger-by-three-years sister, is where the spawn got his smarts. She is 63, makes a tad more than minimum wage, has COMPLETELY destroyed credit such that she needed a co-signer to buy a used car.

They are both pretty sure the ACA, Obamacare, is a commie plot...but when she ended up in tbe hospital....you figured that out, did you?

I wonder if she's figured out that to survive, she'll be moving to a trailer on a semi-vacant lot in the FL panhandle.

BUT...I have something to be happy about. Even though his sister has no connection to it, there WAS a deep end to the gene pool. I married the product thereof.

Next?

Probaby a cousin of mine.

Yes, I've missed your rants. No one else rants quite like you. The real question is, how did you end up in a family with so many people to rant about? It seems you never run out of material.

Are we permitted to omit references, in our responses, to water seeking its own level?

You know, we are so split politically at this point and I don't know how people think what they do, I've just come down to the people I don't agree with are brain washed. I know that sounds harsh, but how can you not believe science and other facts. Facts are facts..... and I just don't believe you can have alternative facts that are based in wishful thinking. The wish is the father of the thought. ;) (yep, that is my Shakespeare quote for the day...I don't have a lot of those, but I heard that quote the other day and I was like, wow, I like that)

lately I've been wondering if "you are who you hang out with" because as I age, I fancy I am somehow "catching" pain and weakness and anger from my nursing home patients.
but you sure disproved that idea! or, do you not spend much time with these family members? :p yes, that makes more sense.

good work! ;)

The Flat Earth People were on CBS Sunday morning today. Next, one of their assholes is gonna shoot himself 62 miles above earth. So glad they meet up SO close to my home.

while looking for live coverage of Hurricane Micheal on youtube (finally found it on my over the air TV, ABC was live) I watched a "chemtrails" guy showing us on radar how "they" were spraying to direct the storm.

No time at all.

The kid stopped by here once, about two years ago. He FB "unfriended" his cousin, MiniSue, because...according to him..."she was posting all her liberal, socialist stuff on my wall."

Last time we saw MrSue's sister was in 2014...way too recent in my book. She is actually not, using standard criteria, a stupid person. But, shit...her mom "programmed" her to be a store clerk and not fat. She dropped out of HS at 16, married a soldier and moved to the south...and worked as a not-fat store clerk.

At one of my bitchier moments, at a gathering about 30 years ago, MIL kept asking, "Have you seen your sister-in-law? She's looking GOOD! I think she's a size six!" (I was an 18-20.) When I got tired of hearing that...and variations on that theme, I finally said something like, "That's great. And how's she doin' in that GED class?"

Rabid pro-Israel Orthodox Jews. 'Nuff said. At least a couple of my cousins, children of the rabid ones, are pushing back too.

Glad you see your bitchy side back. For those who don't know me all that well, I use two connotations for the word bitch. It's like that good old southern gem, "Bless your heart". Spiky Bugger is definitely high on my Love That Bitchiness List. I'll refrain from naming someone from my What a Fucking Bitch, but you'd have to pay me at least seven figures to hear another version of Wah! WAh! This is Why I Lost the 2016 Presidential Election.
