Very nice his dash really stood for something. In my family we say the dash between birth and death is ones accomplishments and should really brought to the light in one's obituary.

Forgive me but why was this in rants and raves? I thought that's where I viewed it. Usually one is going off in rants and raves. Would this be a rave post?

As much as one can rave about losing a family member...yeah. He lived his dash the way he wanted.
