It has taken nearly 3 years and reams of ridiculously tedious paperwork, but I am FINALLY a dual US/Canadian citizen!

I can't believe how problematic this process was, so now that I just received my certificate of Canadian citizenship, I have to yell it everywhere I go. So relieved to be done with this.

No idea yet what I'm going to do with/about this, I just wanted it and saw that a door of opportunity was going to close on me if I didn't start it when I did.

hurray, and congratulation!

you think you might want to move to Canada?
It's not in our immediate plan, but we aren't sure where we'll be in the future, especially when we consider what we are paying for medical. I do have family in Canada. If we do eventually move to Canada either full or part time, it will likely only be to the Vancouver area, which is basically the same as here.

We also know we want a change in our work life right this very minute, so we will adjust some things in the next year or so making it so we can at least be more mobile when we want.
