My son's endocrinologist does not accept insurance. I also have had occasion, due to consuming too much vitamin B3 and experiencing a niacin flush that I thought was a severe allergic reaction, to use a hotel's on-call doctor that did not accept insurance. Both of these doctors provided receipts with treatment and diagnosis codes intended for submission to the patient's insurance company. I wonder if the concierge docs also will do the same upon request. Seems they don't want to have to negotiate and deal with insurance, but probably coding would be an easy matter for them.
