BTW speaking of the expense of alpaca-wool clothing: I scored a 100% alpaca blazer-styled sweater at a consignment shop a year ago last Black Friday for TWENTY BUCKS. I've about lived in the thing for two winters straight and it's still going strong :-D.

@brooklyngirl : I'll eat almost any time of day or night, but 5:30 AM is one of the few times I'm NOT awake - I go to bed at 2 and wake up at 7, usually. But please don't plan to meet me for breakfast, unless it is at my house! And don't expect me to be dressed either.

I'm always down for bacon and eggs, and they taste better when you're wearing PJs ;)

Best part is, Charles is the breakfast cook. I make the corned beef hash, and he frizzles it and makes a perfect fried egg to put on top. Tapatio is optional (but recommended).

Sometimes I define a great day as one I can piddle around the house all day without having to get out of my pajamas. We also have breakfast for dinner quite a bit.

A friend of mine (Photographer) sold her building in SF and bought an Alpaca farm in Seattle suburbs. They are adorable. She is loving it but then again she is a hippy...

that's nice that she is enjoying it - I imagine there is a big difference moving that much further north, too. have you been out to visit, Whit?
