Thanks to those that mentioned places like Thredup, and such.. or maybe not :)
I have just placed two orders, one through there, and one from a place called Twice (very much like Zappos- but for USED clothes! free shipping/FREE returns!~ great when you cannot find a pair of jeans to flatter your ass, no matter where you go..)

For the first time in my life I have been able to wear the same size for a couple years running. Now I'm trying to find a sense of style (??).. and I like textures and fabrics.. but being a normal working person, can't afford what I REALLY like, hence second-hand shopping.. but I still, despite not breaking a sweat, hate shopping for clothes/shoes.. so the discovery of online second-hand shopping is a boon for me..

My poor magpie hubby though is bemoaning the lack of mens second-hand shops. We have one in Indy here, and he has scored some boots/shirts.. but still.. most clothes there are in sizes larger than he wears, and few and far between.. But as he points out, mens clothes styles rarely go out, and mostly either get worn out or pitched by wives/significant others when they become less than serviceable.. he's been the same relative size since his 20's though, save for a short stint before my surgery... when I started cooking more fat/prot meals.. he dropped right back to his single-guy size.. lucky bugger.

.. about second hand shopping- I cannot, cannot get over how much new clothes cost anymore... really? I just wish I had the time/closet space to really hunt around for what I like.. I can't get over the cost for a simple tank top even at Marshalls.. I am so out of touch.

Tag me on here in PM's with your preferred email addys and I will invite you to both sites for any bonus $, lots of good work-wear on Twice, and some fancier **** on Thredup.. I gather from some digging though, Thredup does NOT pay well for your used threads, but then again, I have outlets to donate to that support some local women's shelters/workforce development.. Weirdly enough, the clothing issue has been the oddest thing to work through.. part of it is skin- I need 3/4 sleeves or more.. unless I get a brachio, which since there is a PS in my building, I have been considering a consult for that part.. too many cute things are made for folks without batwings!

It has been hit or miss for me on thread up. I have purchased 2 lovely cashmere sweaters which I love and a beautiful Navy Ralph Lauren Dress with the tags still attached. The dress is now to big and I never wore it. I am going to hold on to it though its a size 8 and I am a 4 so I may bounce up a bit...

I dipped down near a 6, to a 10 on the high side.. normally would like to stay about an 8, unless I get skin removed that's about the size I can maintain with enjoyment. I hang normally in a solid medium, flirted with small.. up top, med bottom. I'd like to stay in the single digits, but honestly, I'd just like to keep my tits and face, and lose the gut.. that prob requires some sedation and recoup time :(.

The thought of more surgery makes me physically ill. Maybe someday. I have not worn sleeves above my elbows well ever. My ass is Sharpai like and my ****s- golfballs in tube socks... not good. But hell I look great in cloths!

Meee tooo, esp since narcotics=puking horribly. My nips point forwards, but when I lose (if I) this 10-15lbs they get more flat to my chest.. If I had never been fat, I would have been flat chested.. I would not mind the skin removal if a. it wasn't so damn expensive, b. risky, c. recoup time involved, d. painful.

I am a wrinkly chicken, who wear light compression gear daily to keep her floppy bits in place.. oh well, beats being almost as big around as I was tall. :)
