We are finally reclaiming our furniture in storage! We put it there rather than selling it because what we had simply could never be replaced in quality. Ours was all solid wood, antique. We would have needed close to $100,000 to come close to replacing it. But we never imagined leaving it in storage so long.

Anyway about 3 weeks ago, our minister visited us and while we talked we mentioned our travels. We did mention our stuff in storage and the fact we hadn’t been able to reclaim it yet. I did ask her to pray for us to come up with a solution. Within a week, I started seeing moving ads on FB, they were intriguing. I shared one with Charles. He said it looked interesting. So I researched it, reviews were positive, it had the needed requirements. So I reached out and we now have a date to get our stuff!

That's great!
On a different note, I'm reading about flooding in your neck of the woods. I hope you, Mr. Southern Lady, and your neighbors are okay.

Most of the flooding is south of us. We’re just very wet and it started snowing again about 1PM.
wonderful!! I hope you post pix when it's finally home and in place. Do you have a lot of things to get rid of to make room for it?
Not really. We put a very large burgundy leather sofa in storage and it won’t fit. So that will go in the basement while I get photos and try and sell it on FB marketplace. Our current dining table was bought because we were in desperate need of one. But it’s not the one we want. The one will arrive with the rest of our stuff. So the one we currently have will be sold. But much beyond that, we’ll be fine. We tried not to purchase too much once we got here knowing we had so much in storage. Example, the full size mattress was purchased because the bed frame is in storage so we only got an inexpensive metal frame.

I’ll be so thankful to get my drapes and rugs! My bakers rack so I have a place to put the damned microwave and free up the counter space. Some of our animals have never seen our furniture.

I'm glad you will be reunited with your furniture. How wonderful!
Thank you. Until I started trying to actually see where everything was gonna fit, I didn’t realize this house was smaller than our house in NC. It was advertised as over 2000 sq ft but honestly it’s more like 1800. Our house in NC was about 2100.
