...everyone should know that no vitamin patches have been rigorously evaluated or approved by the FDA. ...
SFAIK, no vitamins, at all, are approved by the FDA... they are supplements, not just patches, as you later point out.

As to getting things through the skin, nitroglycerin patches are FDA approved, and prescribed often by cardiologists.

Go figure why it works for nitro, and not for vitamins... probably has to do with their chemical makeup.

Thanks but I know numerous people who have tried the patches and they don't work for a DS'r. I get vitamin A & D injections.
I didn't realize we could get injections. How and where would we request this from our provider?

My understanding, from a couple of years ago, is that a massive weather event wiped out the Puerto Rican company that was preparing either A or D. That’s when my injections stopped.

This is very good! I’m almost six months po revision to DS from SADI and shorter cc 300-150. My SW 249 , CW: 234 . I’m worried , really worried that this won’t work for me. Maybe I’m focusing too much on the number on the scale. Not sure but it seems like I have tried a variation of calorie combinations including upping to lowering them to get the scale to move. The only time I see the scale move is when I’m exercising (running) every day. I can expect a 2lb loss at the end of the week. As the weather became colder I ran less. So my weight stayed the same for the past 3 wks . I just desperately want to get out of the 200’s. I know that I am so much more healthier than I have ever been but the nagging scale(I do not weigh everyday) is trying to convince me that some how I’m failing and not doing enough. I’m eating more than 1600 calories a day and most days my carbs are 50 or less. My protein is 120+ daily and fats are 80-100g

Ignore calories, with malabsorption they make no sense. It sounds like your macros are where they need to be for your surgery.

Are you taking measurements? We’ve discovered long ago that we can’t seem to lose weight and inches at the same time.

Not really. I’ve been judging my clothing. Does that sound strange to you though? After 6 months still to only have officially loss 15lbs per the scale? Is there something that could be contributing? I may have mentioned this before but my comorbidity were fibroids and of course a very high bmi(first surgery 57) My doctor wants me to decide about having a hysterectomy or take some medication to shrink them. She mentioned that it will force me into menopause as I’m currently peri. Not really certain on what direction to go but I was thinking that may be the reason why it is becoming difficult for my body to let go of the weight.

Well, if you are going by clothing, you are kinda going by inches.

Are the fibroids on your ovaries? Because if they aren’t, keep them. That will hold off menopause until your body is fully ready.

True. No they’re not on my ovaries.

I had my uterus removed in 1994. Sometime in the last 10 years I went through menopause. I have no clue as no female relatives older than me got my age with theirs in place or died way before I was old enough to ask. There is a blood test but it’s not completely accurate.
