southernlady I'm so sorry! Hoping for a rapid and full recovery.
I am very sorry! Hope it is a mild case and he recovers quickly. Thanks everyone. His mom didn’t know what variety as it was the rapid test.
Thanks for asking. Not sure how they are handling it, but I can pass along the info to the daughter.southernlady , I asked my DMAT* cousin and she didn’t actually answer about younger kids.
“We gave antibody therapy to a 16 yr. In AZ you can get it if you are exposed to COVID or test positive for COVID-19. MD made decision. Also in AZ if symptoms were 10 days or less. In Sacramento symptoms have to be 5 days or less.“

I'm sorry. I hope he recovers quickly and completely. My grandson has Covid. Since he is only 9, he’s dependent on others to stay well. I just hope and pray it isn’t the delta variant. His mom and dad had Covid in April??, but he wasn’t tested as he didn’t have any symptoms. I’m hoping he did have it back then, as it would give him a small bit of protection now.
