Well now, if you can't manage a belt, there's always suspenders.
OMG!!!! It is going from bad to worse! OK I confessed that I have never worn a belt. Next confession, I can't wear suspenders either because I have never in my entire life tucked in a shirt. The shirt is always long enough to cover the flubber gut and baggy enough to make ME think it is less obvious. And yes this means my shirts are always at least 2 sizes too big!

Hence, we have arrived back at the very beginning of this epic diet thread. I want to get my hernia fixed at the lowest possible weight and hopefully a panniculectomy. I am too old to keep on waiting and hoping to find a way to pay for plastics. I believe my panni is bad enough that Medicare will pay for it. I plan to tell my surgeon I don't care if my gut looks like a tic tac toe board and my belly button ends up under my chin. Just once in my life I would like to tuck in a shirt! Plan to try REALLY hard to get the muscle repair too but who knows. I am so sick of looking pregnant. The damn hernia is the size of a basketball!

No belt and no suspenders. You're making this challenging. Have you considered bib overalls?

We decided to celebrate Veteran's Day on Sunday the 11th. That's when it's supposed to be anyway. So cheat day begins at midnight. Jeff is a veteran so everyone in town, practically, is offering him a free buffet. We will go out for brunch tomorrow, not sure where yet. Taking a trip to the store to be ready at midnight. My list is ice cream, cheetos, and poptarts. Jeff wants ice cream and ding dongs. I think I will help him out with those ding dongs.

At the buffet...of course the desserts but I have been dying for potatoes and anything else carby I can get! My plan is to eat nothing healthy tomorrow!

Meanwhile I guess I have to figure out what's cooking today. Something boring, I'm sure!

Cheat day was divine. I didn't eat that much. Probably because I know Jeff's birthday is right around the corner. I had a pint of ice cream, a slice of pineapple, 2 tbsp mashed potatoes, 2 pieces of french toast with syrup, corned beef hash, BBQ sauce on my brisket, a snack size bag of Cheetos, 2 ding dongs, some pretzel chips, and 4 pop tarts. I saved the rest of the pop tarts for Jeff's birthday. We are currently debating on celebrating Saturday or Sunday. I am guessing Saturday because there is a steak special at our favorite casino and they have killer au gratin potatoes. But I am making a ding dong cake!

Oh.. Poptarts?? What flavor? With all my tastes that have changed, why do I still like Poptarts... Even my 13 year old Chihuahua loves them. You had them toasted, right? I might need a cheat day...
