For me it was when the itching stopped, but as always I finished the course of antibiotics.

Oral thrush takes just a few days to clear up, as I recall.

I think it's gone but I'm still swishing and gurgling! I have two little ones so I want to make sure it's good and gone and I don't share the cooties!!

Argh!! I'm starting to itch again - I've been off antibiotics a couple of days now and I think it may be coming back. I had similar happen over a decade ago trying to prevent a surgical infection. I'd treated it correctly, but things were starting to look iffy, so I got a 1 week bout of antibiotics and had to go back later to get an extra course of the same stuff at a higher dose and for longer.

It's been nearly 3 weeks now... sigh!!
