Not been here in a awhile....Today is my 10 yr surgiversary of my DS revision. In 2 weeks it will 20 yrs since my first improperly done DS. Had my appt with Dr Rabkin yesterday. He is very happy with my labs, weight etc. Wish I would not have wasted 10 years of misery and gone with with a vetted DS doc back then. We have so much more information now than we did 20 years ago. For those considering please do your due diligence on the surgeon you are considering. I owe my life to Dr Rabkin after the errors made in my first surgery. Just because a doc stated they do the DS, find out their track record, complications, deaths, etc. I am thankful to have lost 170 pounds and in a size 10-12 depending on the make. Only downside is no excuse to buy new clothes as they all fit season to season. LOL Second best thing I did was go to Brazil for plastics once I was stable. Good luck to anyone who is out there researching.
