I wanted to call this thread Ask Me About My Hemorrhoids!
I'm 15 years out from a Distal RNY and I'm currently recovering from a normal but PAINFUL hemorrhoidectomy caused mainly by chronic constipation due to my super compliant supplement taking. (Calcium and Iron)
I scanned the DS boards before signing up here and I think that's where I need to hang out for a while reading about fat bombs and magnesium oxide. I need to find a way to keep things smooth while not interfering with my calcium absorption. I've got the bone density thing somewhat under control with an endocrinologist and need to get back on my large calcium doses ASAP.
I also take Ferocon (iron) for anemia -- which I may not need so much since I've had the hemorrhoidectomy. My bloodwork will tell me.
I'm obviously an old-timer but I've got an awful lot to learn.

I get feraheme by IV for anemia. Oral iron just doesn't work well for me so I avoid it altogether.
