well, sure, why not?

glad to hear such good news! although now I think of you as The Bugger....:p

Hey Spiky, hope you have that new Air now! I am an old cath lab nurse and would have loved to converse after versed and fentanyl. Glad the report is good. As they say, the dye don't lie!
keep your feet up, surf some channels and cruse some sites, you've earned it.

Thanks and well...then...let me tap your brain?? So, I shower first and THEN remove all this tape (not allowing a stream of water to hit the incision area), right? My 24 hours are up. Easier if shower preceeds tape removal? (Versed-influenced memory.)

ETA: PS ...no fentanyl that I am aware of. I was on Vicodin and flavoxate HCl (for bladder spasms), they added morphine so I could stop balling up in pain from the bladder long enough for the cath, then a topic at the incision site, then Versed, then more Vicodin and antispasmodic, for bladder and then morphine for the back pain from six hours of not moving.

If I had gone to college in my youth, I'm sure it would have felt like this.

I think even with four years of college to practice, plus 8 years of grad school and four more years of law school, that regimen woulda killed me.

That would be really funny except for the pain.

Thanks, all. Turned out they cut me loose in the wee smalls! I am now being a bum at home. Cannot lift over five pounds for ten days. I think this means a new iPad Air!!

Ouuucchh!! I've been "cut loose in the wee smalls" before and boy did it hurt! Haven't been the same since! But...seriously, glad to hear you doin ok and miss all your "esteemed wisdom" over here. I can't help but to wonder though if those nurses got any extra hazardous duty pay? :D
