Redheads tend to need more anesthesia. I know with dental procedures, anesthesia wears off faster than typical for me.

As far as my daddy, who knows, but this is the man who broke his ankle as a kid and “walked it off”.

I think having a high pain tolerance can be a detriment because I know that I'll put off seeing doctors because "it's not that bad." And then of course I end up with a more serious issue because I didn't get it taken care of when it was minor.

My soon to be husband is a red head, the pain tolerance is insane. When he does complain, then I know he's hurting bad.
