oh so what does that mean? Can we still go by the information in there for surgeons? (I am a vsg to DS preop) I read a post about DS surgeons on here or was it revision surgeons-holy crap there is soooooooo much great info on here!!!!

However, a good DS surgeon can revise a VSG to a DS.

Yeah, a VSG to a DS isn't really a "revision" so much as it is a two-part DS. The VSG was actually invented to be part I to the DS for sicker, heavier patients. They'd lose enough weight to make them less risky, and then part 2 (the switch part) would be done.
