We were just discussing places to consider for our next trip and Ireland was in the list. Thank you so much for sharing! The pictures look lovely but more importantly you look so happy and healthy.

Thank you. I would love to go back to Ireland again. Next time, I want to go much farther south and see more of the countryside. Dublin is a huge city. It was like many cities here with a very diverse population and culture. Belfast seemed more like it was actually in Ireland. It was very friendly and lots of Irish people. I enjoyed the little side trips best.

The trip looks like it was amazing! Glad you enjoyed it and it's a wonderful feeling to be able to walk a city isn't it?

Thank you and yes, it is amazing to be able to keep up without being a sweating mess.

Well, we've been convinced. Booked a short 12day trip to Ireland. We're going to do the big loop around the southern part after a few days in Dublin, and wonder if you have any pub suggestion? We're fans of good whiskey, and dark beer, so assume that will be easy enough to find, but finding it in historic old establishments is what I'm hoping for.

If you have any other recommendations, I'd love to hear them.

OMG...I'm so jealous!! Those are two of my favorite things also! I can only drink 1/2 a beer though now and have only had a couple since my surgery....BUT...I could put my "Training wheels" on for that kind of a trip;)!

I spent a lot of time in "old historic establishments" at Belfast but none at Dublin. I am sure Dublin is loaded with them but, we spent most of our time in more modern pursuits, shopping! When I go back, I will spend all of my time in the southern part as well. Enjoy your time!
