I will report back later re: the results.

I was recently inspired to try it after a primitive camp out where I had to go au natural like the bears, for the first time since I was a kid (it wasn't any sort of traumatic event.. just had to, and most of the time, that urge doesn't hit when I'm away from a toilet/pit.) It was fast, it was.. complete..?

I have issues with alternating constipation/runs when my IBS is acting up, and had seen the info-vids, so figured- why the hell not. Todd was game too.

This should make for some interesting conversation between us some days.. "honey, did you poo today? How did it go?"

The configuration of the toilet compartment in our new-to-us RV has the short-height toilet up on a bit of a pedestal, so I can put my feet up on the sides of the pedastal, making my knees higher than my hips - completely different from how my tall toilets at home position me. I have tried this a couple of times (because I know about the Squatty Potty) and noticed at least a slight difference in doing so. I shall investigate this further on our next trip.

One thing that's nice about the RV configuration is that I have to put my feet to the side to "assume the position" - but the main part of the floor is still quite low, so it approximates the tall toilets in ease in sitting down and getting up.

interesting, let us know how it comes out...er, you know what I mean. update us, Jo!

I have been reading a bit about it and I guess you just need to put your feet up for easier pooping. apparently we are designed to squat rather than sit for a BM. this is from crapasaurus
