Question about English Custards

No worms yet, thank God. She likes the fish fingers but don't think she'll have it w ith pudding again. She is a complete Anglophile, loves everything Brit. I'm sure this won't be the last time we have a food expedition LOL

Oh Lord, I don't need any more reason LOL My baby girl graduated and I've spent a couple days stress eating... Course, we'll never try fish sticks and custard again

Fish easy to make without the eggs. Is mayo a problem? I believe it is available with no eggs in health food/ vegan section.

I need to have a doctor do a food challenge with eggs as she may have outgrown that allergy. She's 18 now and going off to college in the fall.

LOL, I did my own food challenge with eggs. Mine was a physical reaction but not anaphylaxis. I had always had a miserable 24 hours after eating egg yolk. I would start with the burping...sulfur burps are HORRID! Then the bellyache would start...and I would be unable to get comfortable. Then the diarrhea and finally nausea...once that passed, I was fine.

So what I did was plan ahead...I picked a day when I knew that if I was sick, it wasn't a bad day to be sick...no plans, etc. Turns out I was fine. And I've been fine ever since. I average an egg a day now not including what is used in cooking.
