When I made Jello SF pudding tonight with heavy whipping cream, I let it cool, then added two scoops of protein powder to it. It had set up nicely, then turned back to liquid after the addition of the protein powder. Any idea why? I put it in the freezer for ice cream, but would love to know why the liquid?
 
Same things happens for me. I also tried adding it directly to the milk and getting it fully incorporated before mixing in the pudding mix and that didn't work either. Making it with almond milk wouldn't set at all. I'm curious too.
 
@brooklyngirl , did you also use the sugar free pudding mix? I wonder if that has anything to do with it. Not that I'm going to try the sugar-laden variety.
