OldBroad is having surgery on Monday 4/6

She's FINALLY out of surgery (I'm not sure why it took so long). She had a hiatal hernia that was NOT fixed for some reason. She's in recovery, and everything went well.

Yay! Good to hear that all went well, now hit that pain pump before you need it! Here's to an easy recovery!

She was given an On-Q that didn't work well enough, so she also got a pain pump - her husband said she's in a lot of pain right now - but then falls asleep - so par for the course. They will be taking her to get the leak test at midnight (??).

So glad to hear she's out and recovering! Sorry they didn't fix the hernia... Maybe there was a reason? Fingers crossed she's in ZERO pain soon!

Tell @OldBroad Congratulations - She is probably not feeling like celebrating just now. And leak test at midnight! that is certianly 24 hour care. I am sending good thoughts!

Somehow, a midnight rendezvous in the radiology dept does not sound romantic. Never heard of something so non-urgent being done by moonlight before. But as long as she's ok, that's all that matters.
