Keeping People Informed Long Distance

My B-I-L has recently undergone a major surgery. My sister has a page on Caring Bridge where she can post up-dates. I never knew about this site until now. It is wonderful! Not only do I get up-dates, I can post comments. She doesn't have the stress of phoning a lot of people and I don't have to question if it's a good time to call.

I know I'm not the only one who has relatives a distance away and offer this site as a possible option.

I've followed a couple of Caring Bridge sites. One was for David Mendosa who lead me to all the information I needed to live with diabetes. This spring he died from cancer.
