I'm getting a bunionette

which sounds like it's tiny and cute but just means it's on the pinkie toe side. since this is my first one I had to google about the puzzling pain/weirdness going on. this was followed by shock, denial, anger and now the buy anything that might keep it from getting worse phase.

my googling tells me since I am female and have flat feet I'm likely to get more, I guess 4 total would be possible: yipee (n)

so much to read and new products to buy...

Oh boo. My husband has flat feet and so many issues because of it. We've gotten some good products & shoes from footsmart.com. I hope you find some relief!

thank you! I need to get over this self pity - I'm aging and stuff is going wrong. this happens to everyone!! but it's still a surprise, you know? like, wait, a white hair in my armpit?!!

just got a new pair of walking shoes and excellent customer service at Paradise Footwear. it's too hot but I'm going to take the dogs for a short walk anyway, my feet are SO happy to be in comfortable shoes again.

later I'll shop for toe spacers...
