Hello from NC!

Hi everyone! I was given the heads up that all the cool kids were hanging out here so I hustled right over. I'm currently getting a DS and I have a date for March 9th. I'm on day 3 of my mandatory 2 week pre-op liquid diet, not fun, but I'm chugging along doing what I needed to do. I started pre-op stuff Dec 17 and according to my final pre-op nutrition appointment today, I've lost 22 pounds since Dec 17--most weight I've lost in many years. I look forward to learning from the vets and encouraging others going down this path or thinking about it. I can't wait to lose this weight and doing all the things I either can't do now or currently have a hard time doing. Looking forward to being here

If you want, go to the calendar link and add your surgery date. As far as location, I use the word hospital if I don't want to tell people exactly where I am gonna be. It will show after a moderator to approve.
