Getting ready!!

It may feel like the home stretch, but it's really just the beginning...of great and wonderful changes in your life.

Good luck! I had a great (well, no surgery is fun but I didn't have any complications and the care was good) experience with Dr Greenbaum. He's a great cutter. Just follow the advice of the vets. Also follow the phases of food, but cut down the carbs as most of the dietary advice is based on RNY> IMO.

I never met Lisa (his nutritionist) when I was in hospital, I think she was on holiday or something. I met someone else (can't remember her name) and took the handouts and followed the food phases and nodded and smiled at the rest...

Good luck today, Debbie!! Make sure they manage your pain well during your stay at virtua. I should have spoken up more than I did and once I had the right pain meds - life was much easier. I'm sure you'll do great!
