BCBS of NC denial, post-op program has "insufficient" follow up

Just out of curiosity - was the approval in view of the surgeon's letter with the language I suggested, or did BCBS extract their head out of their ass independently?

Someone at BCBSNC finally got some sense. My doctor's office had called them to confirm where to fax your letter and BCBS let them know that it wasn't necessary, that we were approved.

No, they didn't just "get smart" or anything of the sort....You beat their F*#@ing door down with knowledge and perseverance, appeals, legal threats etc. You (and our esteemed advisers) kicked em square in the nuts and are to be congratulated for NOT giving up which is what the thieving bastards wanted you to do!!
