Approved, Grateful

Thanks to herculean efforts by @DianaCox and @Larra, I received the call today that my level one denial has been rescinded.

My surgery is APPROVED!!!!!

I'll know more after the surgeons office gets the approval. I am so excited!

Thank you so much Diana and Larra, it would have been a very different outcome without the two of you!

@Mermaid I am THRILLED for you! Of course you should never have had a denial in the first place, but still, this is great news. Now you can move forward with a lot less stress and focus on preparing for surgery. Let us know as soon as you have a date and our awesome @southernlady can add you to the schedule.

Thanks everyone for the support. It has been a trying year. From lap band failure (band failed! Not me!) and removal, to the most idiotic insurance battle over policy wording...not even over qualification and necessity.

My head is spinning with how fast things move once they're moving.

I am truly thankful for all the information here, I have learned more in 2 months here than in 8 months of required nutritional visits with an 83lb non-DS dietician.
