VSG to DS : week 1 of naivete

Wow @DianaCox I'm so glad you shared that because I've been a little terrified of the idea that my energy might tank so badly that I can't get anything at all done. Your doings after surgery give me some hope. @LindaDarnell I feel for you and hope each day quickens the point to where you start feeling not just better, but MUCH better. Thank you for talking about what you're going through. It helps to see all the possibilities leading up to my own DS surgery next month.

I'm 8.5 wks post-DS now. The first month I was exhausted and all my energy went meeting to my basic needs. At week 5 it was like someone flipped a "getting better" switch, and every day since then I have felt an improvement. That said, I do still tire more easily than before surgery, and if I overdo it on one day, I definitely need a subsequent recovery day. However, I can see a light at the end of the tunnel and am darn close to feeling normal.
