But I also saw my osteoporosis specialist and my height has INCREASED! From 5’2.5 to 5’3.25”, I was barefoot on linoleum and she checked three times to be absolutely sure. So even with the weight increase, my BMI hasn’t gone up. But I noticed this morning that my face looks better. Not as thin and bony. All it took was 10 lbs. Now to stop the increase.

I haven't weighed but I'm pretty sure I'm down at least a little bit or I will be, soon. really taking care of myself these last few weeks.

Hell, I don’t know but I’m not arguing with them especially since she’s the only one who actually measures me. The rest take her word for it. They’ll weigh me but they assume my height remains static.

If you feel better, that’s what counts.
 
My weight is up a bit but I bounce around a lot. I had an abnormal week last week and had more treats than I might normally (this week similar so far) but I’ve got food packed to take to work so I have better choices.

Packing your own lunch will help tremendously.
 
oh I’ve been doing that for months, it’s mostly that I only bring lunch and forget about snacks and other things. I’m on a quest to up my protein levels and do need to also be bringing shakes and such.
Make sure your protein is whey protein isolate. That’s the type most bioavailable. The RTD that has that is two protein waters, Isopure Clears and Protein O2. Most of the RTD are protein concentrates or in the case of Fairlife, just milk which is whey but not even whey concentrate. To get the best bang for your buck in raising your protei, whey protein isolate. You can also get powders, make them with water or HWC in a blender bottle which makes them portable.

Unfortunately not many are these days. Too many on the Fairlife bandwagon

It tastes good, for sure. I use it as emergency protein but don’t rely on it. Same for Premier. I like them and use them but they are not primary protein sources.

And I know why people like the RTD, it is far less effort and when you can reduce effort for things it makes it more likely to get done. Powder is a pain. It’s messy and requires cleaning reusable containers, it gets tiring to carry all the extra supplies around with you to work, etc. I’m guilty of this and that’s one reason why my protein levels tend to be lower. I just hate dealing with powder despite knowing it’s the best.

That said, I use True Nutrition cold filtered whey. Amazing taste, texture, and mixability. I usually buy 15-20 pounds at a time.

That’s one reason I use protein waters. Plus I’m not fond of the aftertaste of whey protein, “milk” based.
 
Just curious, what's wrong with Fairlife shakes? Asking seriously, as I thought they were a good option.
They are filtered milk, not whey isolate protein. Whey isolate is far more bioavailable especially if you need help bringing your protein up. And when made with water or heavy whipping cream, it’s also lactose free.

When looking at whey protein, it goes in this order of what’s best: whey isolate, whey concentrate, whey (also known as milk).
