I got advanced to soft foods but it didn’t start well, dropped back to liquids for 24 hours and still mostly liquid. It’s getting better but far slower than my DS. However, thanks to me not using artificial sweeteners, I’m hanging on the weight cause all my options are high calorie, like my jello.

Yesterday, I had a cup of coffee for the first time in 6 months. I am gonna ease into it. This week, every other day, just one with tea the rest of the time. Besides I need to use up my tea. Next week, I’ll do one cup per day.

And my reflux is about 95-98% resolved. I occasionally need a Pepcid but not every day.

that is such good news! and I'm glad your weight is going the right direction. I would miss coffee SO much and feel like I will never give it up, even though I know I should.

I'm the same, now that I'm moved I need to make better habbits. yesterday I made a crockpot full of chili and took a long walk so that's good.

Thanks, Jackie.
Making new habits that you make for yourself are the easiest ones to keep. I have trouble being told what I have to do but if I decide I need to do it and change them for myself, it helps greatly.

The upside to just using Pepsid occasionally is my osteoporosis specialist will be pleased. Getting off a GERD medication is a win.

Well, to spice things up at work, I fell off a truck on Friday morning. Preliminary verdict is I broke my left wrist. I was up for about 23 hours straight (with about 6 hours of that wading through the Workman's comp process) before I got x-rayed and then fitted with a splint.. Still waiting for an arbiter to be assigned so I can be sent on to an orthopedic doctor. Probably will just wind up with a cast for 4-6 weeks.

Oh dear, falling off vehicles sounds like some I’d do. I hate they make getting things fixed just because it’s workman’s comp an absolute pain in the ass. Heal, please.
