He responded telling me to let him know when I wanted it.Please keep us updated on your panel, I sure hope this works. I love when we can avoid more medicines.
Thank you, I most definitely will consider it. I have a bit of research to do.

this is BETTER than losing weight!!I’m losing inches
What is your common channel?SW: 249 (2nd surgery revised to DS) 9/24/2024
CW:245 (weighed fully dressed at drs office)
Guys I know I shouldn’t be worried but I’m getting concerned that’s all. I’m getting all of my protein and fats(not constipated) low carb and my weight isn’t dropping. Do you think this is normal? I know it can’t be a true stall as I’m losing inches. I’m trying to force myself not to worry, but alas.
My cc is 150. I get upwards to 120g of protein daily, over 85 fl oz of water daily, 70 g of fat and carbs 40-50 some days but most days they’re around 25-30. My staple foods are eggs, bacon, cheese, bone broth, tuna fish, sardines, protein drinks, and protein water. I’ve had an occasional things off plan. What is your common channel?
What are your current macros? As I how much protein, fat, carbs (not net but total), and hydration (fluid)?
Yes I keep telling myself that but I think it’s hard to still see that number on the scale. I stalled for over 7 months with SADI. I could not get below 240 no matter what I did. I just thought surely getting my cc shortened and adding the connection would aid me in getting lower. Sadly, that’s not the case right now.this is BETTER than losing weight!!
@Tblues a few threads that may help:My cc is 150. I get upwards to 120g of protein daily, over 85 fl oz of water daily, 70 g of fat and carbs 40-50 some days but most days they’re around 25-30. When you had the SADI, 70 grams of fat was appropriate. But you need about twice that amount now.@Tblues, you need more fat to lose weight. A common channel needs about 120-150 grams of fat daily. No wonder you aren’t losing.
I’m gonna tag you in the thread that explains fat consumption for a DSer.
Thank you! Will do! I was wondering how to get more fat in but I’ve read the thread you tagged me. More butter to eggs, hwc , more cheese and full fat dressings. When you had the SADI, 70 grams of fat was appropriate. But you need about twice that amount now.
But not all at once. Start by adding 10-15 grams, a day stay at that new level for 3-4 days, then add another 10-15, repeat til you get to the point where you’re getting about 120-150 a day. Too much back down by 10 grams a day til it’s comfortable again. You want soft fluffy DS poop that resembles soft serve ice cream.
Wow very informative!Terrible with math worse with DS math if possible.
I'm terrible with math. So DS math is like a foreign language. So can someone help me understand this DS math to help me calculate my daily calories in my quest to drop some extra weight? So every morning I have 2 large scrambled eggs with 1/4 cup of Kroger colby Jack cheese and 5 pieces of...bariatricfacts.orgDS Math
Reposting my article from DSFacts.com: This is to explain the "DS Math" for those wondering how DSers can eat 3000+ calories per day and not gain weight. Some people also seem to have difficulty understanding why our arteries aren't clogging up, since most of us eat about 50% of our calories as...bariatricfacts.org
