I can't thank you enough. With everything you are going through thanks for responding. I won't lie to you-- your story has me scared. I am 58 years old and looking to do r n y to ds. While I know I need to do this I "know" this is a big surgery I wonder if I "really" understand. I will follow your recovery with interest. Keep getting better and stronger. I think of you often. @Barbara I think the most important thing is to have a surgeon that is well known and trusted to do the revision procedure. Since having mine I have started digging into stats for my clinic and there bad. Even for 1st timers the amount of leaks, strictures and issues are extreme. I think aslong as you go to someone who has a clue it will be rough but doable.
