…we just watched a few minutes of The Green Mile, because MiniSue was part of the crew. So here’s some insider trivia:
#1– MiniSue hired a technician from my ophthalmologist’s office for a special task. Dabs Greer—the actor who played Rev. Alden on Little House—played the OLD Paul Edgecomb—Tom Hanks’ character—in the film. Tom Hanks has blue eyes. Dabs Greer had brown eyes and didn’t know how—or want to learn how—to insert contact lenses. So MiniSue solved that problem with help from the lady from my ophthalmologist’s office.
#2– At the end of the whole thing, part of her job was liquidating everything so they could move out of the office. She got rid of everything EXCEPT two of the Mr. Jingles mice. (There were about 20 of them, because they taught each mouse only one behavior…they aren’t geniuses…and they had to have young and old versions of the mice.) Guess who went home with TWO Mr. Jingles! Later, when her neighbors had out-of-town visitors who wanted to see movie stars, she introduced them to TWO movie stars!
